About
Israel is a very underrated backpacking destination. Tel Aviv is one of the best cities for partying and soaking up some sun on sandy beaches, that I have ever been to, and Jerusalem is without peer when it comes to history and culture. Next you have the green and hilly Golan Heights area up in the north and the crater scarred deserts of Mitzpe Ramon and the Negev in the south. Finally there is the incomparable Dead Sea to the east. Any country with this much variation is quite amazing. All of this in a country the same size as Wales. Incredible.
