Riga

Riga is the financial, creative, and cultural centre of Latvia famous for Art Nouveau and wooden architecture. It has a very lively nightlife centred around the Old Town and is developing a reputation as the backpacking party centre of the Baltics.

Tallinn

Tallinn is a fantastic city for backpackers. It is small enough to be easily navigable on foot, cheap, and with plenty to see and do. The medieval old town is one of the best in Europe. A great starting point for any trip through the Baltic states.

Helsinki

Helsinki is the capital and largest city of Finland. It is also the world’s northernmost metro area of over one million people. Helsinki regularly features towards the top of the ‘world’s most liveable city’ list, coming at no. 10 on this 2015 ranking.
